5 Reasons Why iLove Timely

5 Reasons iLove TimelyEvery once in a while you come across something that you were either not expecting, or you didn’t know you needed, and that something ends up being a gem. Timely is once such tool and I’d like to share with you 5 reasons why iLove Timely.

1. Schedule Tweets

Timely is built to schedule Tweets and makes it very easy for you to do this. The process is simple: 1. You choose how many times you want Timely to tweet per day; 2. You add a tweet to your Timely queue; 3. Timely selects the best time to tweet to achieve maximum impact.

2. Timely Bookmark Bar

Timely has created a brilliantly simple bookmark tool that allows you to create a Timely (a tweet from Timely). When you find an article you want to share you click on the “Create a Timely” button which launches an external window with the article title and url. You simple choose if you want the Timely added to your queue or posted within 30 minutes.

3. Customization

The beauty of Timely is in it’s simplicity but there are some customization options within the tool. Timely allows you to do the following things:

  • Add multiple Twitter accounts
  • Select a URL shortener
  • Invite others to collaborate with your Twitter Timely account
  • Select Number of Tweets per day per account – You can select 1, 3, 5, or 9

4. Built in Analytics

Analytics can be overwhelming at times, especially when trying to determine your real impact on Twitter. Timely’s analytics are everything you need and nothing you don’t. Clicking on the Performance Tab shows you your tweets, what time they were tweeted, as well as Clicks, Retweets, and Reach. I’ve found that Timely’s analytics are clean, informative, and useful.

5. Free

It’s hard to believe but Timely is free. All of this power, customization, analytics, and utility won’t cost you a dime. I encourage you to signup now!

I’ve been using Timely for a few weeks now and at the time of this post I’ve tweeted 363 times with Timely, had 153 Retweets, and reached 75,594 other Tweeps. I hope you’ll give it a try and let me know your impressions in the comments section below.

I agree ... I love timely too! The one improvement I'd like to see is the addition of a drag-drop tool to reorder the scheduled tweets. As it is, opening up multiple tweet edit windows and some copy-paste gets the job done too. It's a pretty minor distraction for such a powerful tool!

davehultin Thanks for taking the time to comment and I totally agree! The drag-drop tool would be a great addition to an already awesome tool! Thanks again!
