Good stuff Brendan. I'm using hootsuite but can't seem to track pic views in ow.ly when I use their build in photo upload for iphone. Any thoughts on how to view stats on those picture posts? I'm assuming you use a paid version of hootsuite correct? I am beta testing for myself on my personal twitter before going live with my schools account. Thanks for your posts. Great content.

Dean T Thanks for reading and thanks for the feedback. I sent your question to Hootsuite's Twitter help account (@Hootsuite_Help) and here was their response:

Tracking pics has not yet been added as a feature. That is on our road map, though. ^CT

I actually now use the paid version but for the LONGEST time I only used the free version. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Brendan

Great idea, Brendan! It's a great way to add value to your (already terrific) blog. What software did you use to create the screencast? I've been down in the weeds using Camtasia Studio this week making screencasts to help our school parents navigate the interface changes that will occur with our website upgrade next week.

I'm a Hootsuite fan myself, I really like the tweet scheduling feature.

susan.m.bearden Hi Susan! Thanks for your comment and for being a loyal reader. I actually used Screenflow from Telestream for this screencast [http://www.telestream.net/screen-flow/] and found it SUPER easy! Good luck with your project and Happy New Year!
