I've begun working out again and as I've gotten older my workouts have gotten less strenuous and slower.
Why should you care?
Because slower workouts allow me to multitask – I usually end up walking the hills of Pittsburgh and I've found that listening to podcasts has been a great way to pass the time and learn about inbound and content marketing while I try to stay in shape.
I've listened to a number of different podcasts during my workouts but consistently listen to three podcasts that have become my favorites. I hope you'll take the time to check them out and let me know what you think – they are listed in no particular order:
1. Duct Tape Marketing Podcast
I've been listening to this podcast by John Jantsch for a while now. John is the author of two great books: The Referral Engine and Duct Tape Marketing, and I've been a loyal reader of his blog for over two years now. John conducts a lot of interviews, especially with new authors, which has introduced me to many great books on marketing and social media.
2. Copyblogger Podcast: Internet Marketing For Smart People Radio
I'm a huge fan of the Copyblogger blog and software which caused me to write: 7 Reasons I Have a Man-Crush on Copyblogger. Copyblogger churns out a ton of great information and I've learned so much from reading their content so I was very excited when they launched their podcast.
The Copyblogger podcast is hosted by Robert Bruce and guests have included Copyblogger staff including Brian Clark and Sonia Simone. Content includes great marketing advice that I've been able to apply in my work right away.
3. Inbound Now Podcast
Inbound Now is created by the folks at Hubspot. I'm such a huge fan of Hubspot that I declared myself the first Hubspot Head. With all things related to Hubspot – this podcast delivers!
Inbound Now is hosted by David Wells and I enjoy this podcast because of the eclectic mix of guests. I also like the format of David's interview and find that they are easy listening.
I hope you'll enjoy these podcast's as much as I do – now all I need to do is figure out how I can be a guest on these great podcasts.
