Happy Inbound Marketing Saturday! Listed below are links to interesting things I found on the web this week: cool tools, great blog articles, memorable Tweets – anything that stuck out to me and I think is worth sharing. I encourage you to check them out for yourself.
Blog Post: 11 WordPress Plugins You’ve Gotta Have – As a freelance writer I work with many different blog owners on a regular basis and that means I get the chance to see just about every plugin imaginable. Every once in a while I’ll come across a new one that is just amazing and I wonder how I ever blogged without it. I want to give you a list of the top 11 must have plugins for any WordPress site.
Blog Post: Posterous Group Tool Makes Small Business Sense – Actually, while many people swear by Posterous as an information posting platform I haven’t really seen it as particularly powerful tool for small business over any other platform such as WordPress. This week, however, Posterous added a feature that I think may have some real utility for small businesses. Posterous users can now create their own public or private groups and add users that can share, post, and submit various form of content. Again, using email only, group members don’t even need to have a Posterous account to add content. The two panel interface presents the information in a very accessible way.
Blog Post: How To Use Google Campaign Experiments To Optimize Adwords -Changing adwords campaigns, particularly established campaigns that are working, can involve a lot of trial and error. We don’t want to ruin a good thing, yet all of us want to optimize for best results. In August 2010, Google rolled out a helpful tool called Adwords Campaign Experiments, otherwise known as ACE. ACE is a free tool that enables you to run experimental campaigns, side by side, against your existing campaigns. You can run tests on a percentage of your traffic, as opposed to all of it.
Tool: Let’s Crate – Ridiculously easy file-sharing.
Have fun checking these out and let me know what you think in the comments section below.
